劇情簡介
孟菲斯（尼古拉斯?凱奇 Nicolas Cage 飾）是這個世界上最高明的竊車賊，人們形容他為“gone in 60 seconds”，即只要他盯上的車停在這裏，他60秒內便能連人帶車一起消失得無影無蹤。孟菲斯終究厭倦了竊車賊的雖然驚險刺激但重壓在身的生活，宣佈金盤洗手 了。但他的弟弟卻想步其後塵，不料很快就捲入了一次黑幫危險的交易中。孟菲斯為了救出兄弟，只好重操舊業，答應黑幫一晚內偷來50輛車。
不料，員警正在密切監視著孟菲斯。當他偷得最後一輛野馬跑車時，警車、員警直升機尾隨而至，展開了一場馬路追逐……
